Indications/Uses
OA of the knee & periarthritis of the shoulder.
Dosage/Direction for Use
IA Inj directly into knee or shoulder once a wk for 3 consecutive wk.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Liver disease; skin disease or infection at site of inj. Administer after removal of inflammation caused by deformative OA of the knee. Local relaxation is recommended after administration. Administer accurately into articular cavity. Do not administer into blood vessels or use for ophthalmological purposes. Concomitant use w/ 4th grade ammon salt eg, benzalkonium Cl, bacterial disinfectant & chlorhexidine. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Pain at the inj site. Myalgia, headache, upper resp infection, indigestion & rhinitis.
Drug Interactions
Precipitation w/ 4th grade ammon salt eg, benzalkonium Cl, bacterial disinfectant & chlorhexidine.
